Network Marketing Success Strategies For Stay-at-home Moms
Whether trying to earn a little extra income to take a fun family vacation or working parttime from home to earn a fulltime income stayathome moms are a big part of Network Marketing. Any working woman will tell you that balancing work and family is a tough thing but trying to balance work and family while managing all of the other duties of a stayathome mom is a job for Superwoman! Here area fewtips for stayathome moms who want to be successful Network Marketers as well.
Plan Your Day. Each night before going to bed I like to plan my activities for the next day. I make a list of things that need to be donefamily responsibilities household chores business activities and other commitments. Then I schedule timefor each one of them. Does my day always follow the schedule I made the night before? No! But when I know what needs to get done I have an easier time prioritizing and shuffling tasks when necessary.
Designate a Workspace. If you don’t have a roomin your home for a dedicated office find an area that you can use as workspace. It may be a desk in your room the computer hutch in the living room or anything that works for you. If they’re old enough teach your children that when you’re in your workspace you’re not available for other things. As long as you don’t spend hours at a time offlimits from your kids it will be good for them to learn to entertain themselves and take care of things on their own for awhile.
Work Your Business Around Your Family Needs. This tip ties back into planning. When you schedule your business activities plan them for times that are the least hectic around your house. If you’re trying to get kids off to school in the morning trying to answer emails and phone calls during that time isn’t going to be productive. But if you wait until they’re gone you will be able to give your business your full concentration. I have a small son so I schedule my business tasks around his naps and bedtime.
Take Time for Yourself. This might be one of the most difficult things to do but it is something that will help you be more productive in all aspects of your life. The constant stress of taking care of a family coupled with the pressures of building a successful network marketing business can take their toll on your sanity. You may not be able to get away for a weekend with your husband or girlfriends but I have found that a nice relaxing bubble bath will do wonders when I’m worn out.
Focus on the Positive. It’s easy to see where you are falling short to notice the things on your todo list that didn’t get done. And if you spend your energy dwelling on what you didn’t do you’ll waste energy that could be spent on more important things. Instead choose to focus on the things that you did accomplish during the day. Maybe your goal was to write three articles and you only got one written. Well give yourself a pat on the back for finding the time to write that one article! When you focus on the positive you will be more productive…and much happier.
