There is always a lot of talk about home businesses and how to do them well. You’ll find many obstacles along the way to push you off your path. However how do you take stock of your business and know when enough is enough meaning when do you stop trying to make it work and realize that you should spend your time somewhere else doing something else? This is often one of the hardest businessrelated decisions that anyone has to make. There are going to be many times when a person fails to recognize that their business has failed. The easiest way to make sure that you are always aware of your business and how it is going is to be sure you are always keeping good records. Therefore you can make a good decision about what to do next. You need to be able to see your business growing as you have come along. Good records are very important so that you can see if you are doing better or worse. They are also important because if your business goes through a slump you can look back and see if this is a yearly occurrence and if it will come back in a few weeks. Good records can help you make sure that no matter what you do you are doing for the business and for what the business needs. So keep clear and concise records and keep making sure that you are able to know exactly where your business is headed.

Next you also have to make sure that you have good goals towards which you can steer your business. You’ll want to set realistic goals and you’ll want to make sure you are keeping good records and meeting those goals to determine how you are doing overall. This is a key factor in realizing that you should go forward with your business or step back and regroup. You should make sure you have enough information all of the time.

Sometimes taking a hard and difficult look at your business plan can determine what your future will be. If you can see the progress based on records and sales you can continue to move forward. If you see no progress from your business and keep losing money you may need to rework your plan. Asking for help is nothing to be ashamed of. Sometimes calling a mentor or business associate is all you need to get your plan going in the right direction. Asking for help is not failure. If you can visualize what your dream and your goals are figure out what you need to do to get there. Regardless of whether you need to change your advertising plan website or even just start again from the beginning your desire to win determines your approach to it all. Just don’t be affraid to change your plan as you move along. It could be the difference of meeting your goals faster and finally living the life you dreamed about.

Many times they do not have time or resources to train their entire downline. And unfortunately many times they just don’t want to truly share with you all the knowledge they paid thousands of dollars for and worked so hard for.
Don’t bet on your Sponsor. Pick a Mentor a person a book a network community or any other source of knowledge that you can rely on and will help YOU relentlessly grow YOUR business and influence in this industry.

It’s a numbers game or IS IT?

Yes IF you don’t know what you’re doing. Wrong things = wrong results. And eventually someday somebody might buy your product or join your team but that will not keep you in this business.
Remember this: TO GET WHERE YOU’VE NEVER BEEN YOU HAVE TO DO THINGS YOU’VE NEVER DONE.
Don’t listen to: “Just keep at it!” “Don’t give up!” “Keep plugging away!” “It will happen it’s a numbers game!” Unless you’re producing results you want you do need to stop doing what you’re doing find what’s causing the problem and fix it.
If it means you need to read a few more books then read few more books. If it means you need to talk to a few more network marketers who have been in your place but figured it out then go find them and talk to them. LEARN ADJUST AND OVERCOME. The only numbers you need to have in mind is your daily bank deposit amounts.

Yes this is a “peoplebiz”. You don’t necessarily have to like people but you have to know people. You have to be able to very early in the conversation pick up on what makes this people tick.
What moves them? Pain? Pleasure? Are they trying to avoid something or are they after something?
How do they make decisions? Alone? Do they consult with someone? Do they have to sleep on it? Pray about it?
How do they intake their information? Are they Audio? Visual? Kinesthetic? You can talk to the visual till you’re blue in your face it won’t click. The Visual has to SEE IT the AUDIO has to hear it and Kinesthetic has to FEEL it.
You have to have their trust and they have to see you as someone who can and is willing to help THEM reach THEIR goals.
It’s lot easier to attract people to you then have to chase them and then sell them on the idea to come join you.
